Consideration. Be considerate of your wife’s feelings. The Prophet sallallahu alaihi wa sallam delayed an entire army for a bracelet that his wife Aisha radhiallahu anha lost.
Honour. The Prophet sallallahu alaihi wa sallam came out of the Musjid to see his wife Safiyyah radhiallahu anha home. He didn’t say: Go back home, but walked with her.
Comfort. The Prophet sallallahu alaihi wa sallam wiped away the tears of his wife Safiyyah radhiallahu anha with his own hands.
Tranquility. The true purpose of marriage is to find peace and tranquility in one’s spouse. The Prophet sallallahu alaihi wa sallam would sleep on his wife’s lap on numerous occasions.
Chivalry. The Prophet sallallahu alaihi wa sallam would kneel besides his camel to let Safiyyah radhiallahu anha put her foot on his knees and climb onto the camel.
Toleration. Once Aisha radhiallahu anha brought a dish she had cooked. Another wife Sauda radhiallahu anha was sitting between Aisha radhiallahu anha and the Prophet sallallahu alaihi wa sallam. Aisha radhiallahu anha told her to eat. When she refused, Aisha radhiallahu anha took some of the food and smeared it on Sauda radhiallahu anha’s face. The Prophet sallallahu alaihi wa sallam laughed and allowed Sauda rahiallahu anha to do the same to Aisha radhiallahu anha.
